I first blogged about it at the start of the year in a piece about two bugs . One was a system failure at the Seattle New Year fireworks, requiring human intervention to run the show. The story was carried by media around the world. The video of the whole incident is even available .

Last year I was able to visit San Franciso for Agile Open California. That’s because I was in Anaheim for STARwest. Now I’m back in Melbourne Australia, so San Fran was out of the question.
Storytelling & Software Testing

I know I started explicitly seeking books on the subject last summer and by the end of the summer my fledging theory was cementing that storytelling applied to business wasn’t crazy.
Can storytelling be applied to software testing? What elements of storytelling can I use? How can I weave elements of storytelling into the work that I do? Those have been guiding questions.

I ordered a "spicy bean burger with fries and extra cheese and mushroom topping". It cost 10 quid(about $20), which is close to gourmet restaurant prices. But it was about as far from cordon bleu as you could get.
