context-driven testing | development methodology | events | functional testing | general software testing | heuristics | patterns | perspectives | test analysis

Below is the paper I submitted as a prologue to an experience report, discussion, and (hopefully) additional research that I'm presenting for the first time during:

Six degrees of separation

OK, I want to try the six degrees of separation thing. I would like to make t-shirts or posters for Retro-futurist micro-scale anarcho-syndicalism. I like the designs from Glennz Tees. In fact, I can imagine a modified version of this Tee being just right for the theme:I’ve sent email to the mailing address I could [...]

"Don't You Know Who I Am?"

The “Gamer Generation” is here. According to the Washington Post, in 2006 at least 40% of Americans play video games on a computer or a console. The largest demographic is 18-34 year-olds, many of whom are working as our friends and peers as software developers and testers. There is a great book, Got Game, which describes the impact of games on the workforce of today and in the future.

Returning

Well this begins sounding like a confession … I haven’t blogged in two months and in my last post, I wrote about my thoughts during a difficult family crisis. So now what?

In practical terms, my mom’s condition has stabilized although remains difficult. Another family member has become ill. More issues have come along putting my family in one of the most difficult times I have ever seen. Heartfelt and honest, this is where I have been. Consumed.
