[textile]Previously I told you of some "feeds that were broken":http://www.testingreflections.com/node/view/1055 and so some content wasn't making it's way into testingReflections aggregator.
I just couldn't make the time but "Len Holegate":http://www.lenholgate.com/ took a look at the RSS for his site and found that indeed the RSS was invalid thanks to bad characters getting through to the XML. He "talks about this and the pros and cons of strict adherence to specifications, such as RSS":http://www.lenholgate.com/archives/000401.html - a thinker learning from every experience...
This prompted me to take a look at some of the others and indeed they all had problems. Including one that I had wanted to aggregate for some time but couldn't.
The current status is:
Fixed feeds:
* "Len Holegate's Rambling Comments":http://www.testingreflections.com/node/view/458
* "PerformanceTester.com":http://www.testingreflections.com/node/view/1174 new
* "Wayne Allen's Weblog":http://weblogs.asp.net/wallen/
Temporary workaround (summaries only):
* "Jonathan Kohl's Collaborative Software Testing":http://www.testingreflections.com/node/view/268
Notified and waiting for a response:
* %{color: grey}-Wayne Allen's Weblog-% done
* "Tim Van Tongerens :: TestGeek Blog":http://www.testgeek.com/cgi-bin/blosxom.cgi
Feed is valid but it still doesn't work (hmmmmmmmm?):
* "DeveloperTesting.com":http://www.testingreflections.com/node/view/245
I now have the task of categorising the content... Fortunately, I enjoy this because it means I get to read everything and soak up tons of knowledge... someone pass me a sponge!
