So how do me measure improvements with agility?

agile
I was impressed with some of the topics at the StarEast 2005 in the newsletter, attached at the end of this blog as the mainsite has not been updated yet, that there is a real movement towards agility at the conference and in testing. At StarWest 2004 there were 2 key notes and only a couple of talks on the subject, mine included, but lots of people asking questions and looking for answers to the issues they faced in their context.

This has lead me recently to thinking about how we can measure the effectiveness of "testing agility" and the change to this state? I have previously in more traditional environments looked at and used the TOM, TMM and TPI frameworks as well as less formal models, I am not sure how well these fit the more agile world, though - I am starting an exercise in this soon, so I will post as I find out more, it is something I hope I get a chance to discuss with Tim Koomen at ICS-Test 6 in Dusseldorf. I have discovered at conference if you have something interesting to discuss people are happy to talk.
