Welcome to testingReflections.com

A Free Software Testing Information Resource

testingReflections.com is an online knowledge-base about all things 'Software Testing' related, that you maintain... A hub for Software Testing knowledge and information... A mind-share blog for the Software Development and Testing community... you get the picture!

This is your place to keep up to date with the latest ideas, tools, concepts and thinking in software development and testing. Recommend a blog if you think it should be 'Reflected' here.

You can use the site in many ways, but the idea is that testingReflections becomes your starting point when researching the latest ideas in software testing and related subjects. Because the information is referenced or written by software testing experts and practitioners, you know that the information is relevant to you... read this entry for more info.

Blogging? What's that?

If you are unfamiliar with blogging, you can find out a lot by searching the web, but here are some basics:

Why a blogging format? Read this article from Martin Dugage and see if you get an idea of where this can go... Blogs and Communities of Practice.

What do you get?

testingReflections.com is FREE to use and intended to remain that way. Anyone who wants to contribute, registers and can post comments. Free blogs are no longer available unless you have been actively blogging on the site already. If you want a blog on testingReflections, you can apply for one...

Becomming a TR blogger

testingReflections used to provide free blogs to all, yet was selective about which blogs and feeds were aggregated. Users placed a high value on the quality of the content. In order to ensure that the quality of the content is retained, blogs hosted on testingReflections are now by invitation or application only, much like the aggregated blogs.

Existing bloggers will get to keep their blogs indefinitely!! By existing bloggers, I mean bloggers who have been frequently posting to their blog. If you were already blogging on testingReflections and now find it doesn't work, let me know which account you would like reactivated. I reserve the right to refuse account reactivation or to ask you to reapply.

If you have never blogged on testingReflections and want a TR blog, apply for a blog by e-mail including examples (or links to examples) of things you've written about software testing. You don't need to be a 'guru' but I am looking for content that illustrates either experience and/or insight.

If you have blog elsewhere, just tell me where it is and it will be reviewed for possible inclusion in testingReflections.

testingReflections.com is completely free and will be as useful and successful as you want it to be. If you like the idea and want it to continue, donations are accepted (see the "Donate" block on the side-bar). Keeping an eye on the Google Ads and clicking on those that are relevant to you also helps because a small commission is paid to testingReflections for each click. Read more about why to donate...
