Jon Bach and Robert Sabourin in the UK in June 2005

events
[textile]"Testing Solutions Group":http://www.testing-solutions.com/ are fast becoming my test training company of choice, where "Newell and Budge":http://www.nandbtesting.com/ seem to have gained "James Bach's":http://www.satisfice.com/ courses as a product for the UK market and previously "Grove":http://www.grove.co.uk/ who bought him across a few years back. In fact I believe James is also over in June 2005.

Well Testing Solution Group, are following up from the excellent "Tom Gilb":http://www.result-planning.com/ courses they are offering at the end May this year, with at the end of June some training courses by "Jon Bach":http://www.quardev.com/ and "Robert Sabourin":http://www.amibug.com/.

These courses have not been offered here before and I am certain will be worth attending. Robert wrote the wonderful, simple and effective, "I am a bug" and is a regular speaker at STAR events in the USA. Jon is a wonderful speaker who has previously spoken at STAR events and a really sharp guy with some really interesting views and powerful statistics on exploratory testing in sessions from his own extensive experience.

For those that have not seen them, I have seen both of these speakers and have spent time talking to them at conference, they are truly engaging, intelligent and wonderful teachers with a positive giving attitude. If you can attend any courses this year, are involved in agile or exploratory testing and can get to London then these are the courses to go to.

A real coup by Mike Smith, Isobel Evans and those involved on the training side of TSG that many UK testers should look to benefit from.

For those like me unable to make either of these training events, there is a chance to catch Jon at least at the BCS Sigist in London in June a wonderful low cost day at £100 plus vat, for a great networking and learning opportunity with fellow testers.

There is still no information posted on the BCS site yet but Jon assures me he is there and from his notes on the presentations I believe the talks will be excellent, heck I am even taking a day out of my vacation to be there, now that is an endorsement.

Details of Junes Sigist now available.

[textile]For those that are interested the June 2005 English Sigist dates and details are now published in an electronic format via the tester magazine, you will need a pdf reader to access them on the following URL: "http://www.sigist.org.uk/thetester/T200506.pdf":http://www.sigist.org.uk/thetester/T200506.pdf
