ICS test London - September 2005

events
[textile]The London ICS test schedule has now been announced "http://www.sqs-conferences.com/uk/index.htm":http://www.sqs-conferences.com/uk/index.htm for the end of September 2005 and they are starting to post the details of the abstracts of the talks being given. The conference seems to be focusing on the practical aspects of testing and the talks mostly seem to be taking a case study based approach.
As the abstracts are posted then I will be able to supply more information but there looks to be a wide range of experiences being discussed across a real range of contexts: from Games Software testing, to process and successful outsourcing, through to tool talks and testing in agile projects.
There are also talks and workshops on Model Based Testing by Stuart Reid "http://www.rmcs.cranfield.ac.uk/dois/ciseg/stuartreid/view":http://www.rmcs.cranfield.ac.uk/dois/ciseg/stuartreid/view who is involved in the non functional testing standards work in the UK "http://www.testingstandards.co.uk":http://www.testingstandards.co.uk and a consultancy/tool vendor "Conformiq":http://www.conformiq.com

Oh yes and I have been invited to present the talk I gave at the ICS Test in Germany earlier in the year on Agile Testing: Management, Measurement and Benefit Realisation.

Heck, if I can not plug it here...

For those more interested in Agile there is also the Agile Business Conference occurring at around the time also in London, in the same conference venue... "http://www.agileconference.org":http://www.agileconference.org which has the always value for money Tom Gilb "www.result-planning.com":http://www.result-planning.com speaking. I spoke here last year and found it a positive and interesting event with a really powerful set of messages on Agility and how to apply it.
