"STARWest":http://www.sqe.com/starwest/glance.asp has been announced with the full programme, as always there is a clash of talks for me where there is at least one I cannot see as I am "speaking":http://www.sqe.com/starwest/sessions.asp?from=glance&dg=date&dgd=thu&ac=t13#t13 .
Although this year I may have an easier session as I am not following directly on from "Dion Johnson":http://www.dijohn-ic.com/home/home.html , who gave an excellent, informative, positive and highly motivating talk last year just before mine; this time round there is lunch between them for people to forget his and get enough carbs to sleep through mine.
I need to work out which of the training sessions to attend still: "James Bach":http://www.sqe.com/starwest/tutorials.asp?from=glance&dow=mon#h appeals though from the description I do not see how this differs from another of his Exploratory Testing course I attended but practice makes perfect, There is "James Whittaker":http://www.sqe.com/starwest/tutorials.asp?from=glance&dow=mon#e but I am unsure what I will get over and above the book but it might be fun any way or "Robert Saborin":http://www.sqe.com/starwest/tutorials.asp?from=glance&dow=mon#c who I think on first glance pips it for me as it looks like it can bring real benefits to what I am doing on site at the moment.
Nothing leaps out for me on the Tuesday, as I have been using Fitnesse and Junit which look like good workshops for beginners in XP style agile approaches, so I may just try to catch up with people instead.
I ruled "Harry Robinson":http://www.sqe.com/starwest/tutorials.asp?from=glance&dow=mon#i out as I attended his training course last year, so good I still remember most of it going on for 12 months later.
