Introduction - I'm a ramblin' guy...

general software testing
I don't know how to blog, so it may be ugly for a while...I'm also trying to learn how to put my thoughts in order. My brain is very spidery...There are little webs shooting off everywhere, so going in a straight line is quite difficult. I tend to internally argue with myself as I go along, so usually by the time I get to the end of what I'm writing, I disagree with the beginning. Let's see if I can't fix this as I go :)

Currently I'm trying to find more agile ways to work at a bank. It's not easy, and as this is always the way I try to work there's significant frustration at times. Early experiences testing consumer applications place me firmly in the context-driven-testing camp...

There are small wins, which keep me going.

At the moment I'm engaged in performance testing, looking for opportunities to join an XP team, and trying to improve my programming skills. I'll start posting my backlog of thoughts here bit by bit. I think mostly I'll be asking a lot of questions, so hopefully I'll get some answers.

Welcome Jared Quinert

The beauty of blogging is that anything goes... a brief thought.. a whole article... a question... an observation... discovery of someone else's perspective... whatever you like!

Please follow these guidelines and I am sure we will all benefit from your contributions!

You can use your real name as your user name if you like... including spaces... I recommend it as it is the username that shows up against your posts... but it is entirely up to you!

Thanks for contributing to the testingReflections community.
