Wait for it...wait for it...

So it has been a couple of weeks, has it already -sure has -feels longer, since I was at STARwest and I am still reflecting on the event; which was to the usual high standards.

*round of applause for the SQE Team*

Well it sure as hell reinvigorated me, is it me or have I become rather chatty once more – was rather quite for a while there, which kind of got a pot and kettle comment from Harry Robinson (I am such a namedropper, it is a rather vain glory, I tend to suffer less well in others).
Anyhow two of the coolest talks will be covered in the next few posts – both on tools, both opensource.

One is out there and one is coming soon, of the coming soon it will, from what I have seen of it and the technical paper: be worth the wait, best bit for me it is perl based, I like perl. Which was the best answer to a question I have seen for a while…

Ubernerd: Why did you choose perl for the tool, rather then {insert language here}?
Speaker: Well…I like perl.

Take a bow Allen Hutchison from google a great answer to what was an obviously loaded question. The tool OAF will be available from google code at some point in the future.

[1] Ubernerd is not a bad thing in my book btw, I just do not know the askers name…if they let me know I will change it, no offence intended.
