Consistency of messages

I went to update my account details today as I am in the process of moving house, with an online banking company. I was amused when trying to log on to the site to access my account to be met with the rather vague message that it was done and would be back soon post maintenance.
This had been like this over the whole weekend, then for the first time in three visits my eye caught the strap line on the logo at the top of the screen, "open all hours".
Not a big problem but blatantly untrue, it is the sort of inconsistency in messages I would expect a tester in an organisation that large to have highlighted, I suspect they did and where ignored.
I am not sure which of these two options is more depressing...
