[textile]Well, it looks like the "SQS conferences":http://www.sqs-conferences.com/ are going from strength to strength really. There are another "three":http://www.sqs-conferences.com/ this year, the German event in Dusseldorf which was outstanding last year and there seems to be no dip in quality from the list of "speakers":http://www.sqs-conferences.com/programme/abstracts.htm posted on the site.
Also there is one in Zurich and one in London - I have yet to see the CFP for Zurich but the London "CFP":http://www.sqs-conferences.com/uk/call/call_1.htm is open, London is a great city and this is a great conference - if I have enough ideas then I will be looking to talk here (I am still aiming for "CAST":http://www.associationforsoftwaretesting.org/conference/callforpresentations.html and "Eurostar":http://www.qualtechconferences.com/content.asp?id=17 - oh I have been accepted for "WOPR6":http://www.performance-workshop.org/content/view/18/42/ too).
It should be noted the award for the "tester of the year":http://www.sqs-conferences.com/uk/award.htm will be run once more this year at the London event. It is something I would like to see more of.
Last years Winner was "Gareth Dyer":http://www.sqs-conferences.com/uk/award.htm at Sony Europe.
I never worked directly with him when we were both consultants for the same company:I know from others he was good and not recognised, it is great to see he has changed the situation and he has been recognised for being good. So who is going to go for his crown? It is "there":http://www.sqs-conferences.com/uk/award.htm to be taken, are you test enough?
