[textile]Model Driven Architecture using UML 2.x to build executable models is an area that I really haven't spent enough time looking at...
I was recently reading "an article by Dave Thomas":http://www.testingreflections.com/node/view/234 that seemed to challenge the approach taken by the OMG which I found interesting, to say the least.
I can see that this is an area that, regardless of the drawbacks of the approach, it will have a significant influence as these drawbacks are addressed as the methods (and tools) mature further, especially for testing approaches.
Perhaps there is a meeting of minds yet to occur between proponents of MDA and those in favour of Agile Processes.
One tool, in particular, was recommended to me by a colleague... "Enterprise architect":http://www.sparxsystems.com/
I hope to explore these soon and tell you of my discoveries... I am especially interested in links and experiences that others have had with these tools.
