testingReflections.com is a community blogging site. You get your own free blog for sharing your knowledge and ideas about software testing...
**Blogging??**
If you have never heard this term before, read about testingReflections first.
h2. Get the best from this format...
**Personal Blogging to a minimum**
The purpose of this site is to discuss software testing issues. As much as it is nice to get a personal insight into the people posting to the site, and where some posts of a personal nature are acceptable, please use a separate personalised blog for your main 'personal blogging'. Link to it from here if you like.
For example, you might mention in your post that the latest greatest testing pattern occured to you while you were bungee jumping on a recent holiday... but to log an entire diary of your trip wouldn't be appropriate to this site.
To get the best from this site, however, it will be best for everyone if we stick to software testing discussions... so that when you and others search for information, they don't end up getting loads of information about your new tropical goldfish. :-)
**Please Respect other Authors**
Please be respectful of other authors. Everyone should feel free to express their opinions on software testing and development issues in these blogs. We may not always agree, so feel free to agree to disagree.
'Flamers' are not welcome!
Some humorous banter is ok, of course...
Express yourself!
**Post using the built in web interface**
Supporting 'textile' formatting (basic mark-up language, similar to wiki markup). HTML Area component (web-based wisiwyg HTML editor) coming soon...
**Blog by e-mail**
You can send an e-mail and it magically appears in your personal blog. Full details are provided to registered users.
**Blog this bookmarklets**
...coming soon...
**Blogging API enabled**
You can use w.blogger or zempt or any MoveableType-compatible blogging client (yet to be tested by me - but others have used it on drupal powered sites).
**How to Report Offensive Material**
Every reasonable effort will be made to ensure that content is appropriate and relevant. If you encounter pages with inappropriate or offensive content or links to offensive content, please report them to "admin@testingreflections.com":mailto:admin@testingreflections.com with full details of the local URI to the article where the offensive materials or links to such are located.
