Testers on the AA board: will the tradition continue?

Well, believe it or not, the Agile Alliance board has a tradition of having testers involved. Brian Marick was there at the start (but his key self-confessed claim to fame was apparently to suggest the name Manifesto). Brian has also been on the Board, even acting as Chair at the moment. Elisabeth Hendrickson is also on at the moment. I know Elisabeth is finishing up, and I think Brian may be as well. In ongoing email contact and (sporadic less-than-leap-year frequency live contact) over 10 years now, I have agreed with both of them most of the time (though I don't agree with most of Brian's current AA proposals). I noticed a post from Ron Jeffries asking for some interesting candidates for the Board, so for better or worse, I have thrown my hat in the ring. Like Brian and Elisabeth, I am a developer who crossed over to testing, so I relate well to the agile principles without the orthodoxy. If you are an AA member, you may even consider voting for me.....
