One of the key aspects of some software systems is capturing expert knowledge to enable novices to leverage it. Given the ultimate system is a human being, the process of interactive knowledge transfer is an interesting one. The scenario is 3rd baby decides to come unexpectedly, midwife is stuck in traffic, husband quickly gets a cab home, kids downstairs are watching cartoons loudly on TV trying to drown out mother's screams, he hears wife calling him and he runs upstairs to see wife sitting by the bed in labor then he dials the ambulance service......
Operator: Emergency ambulance. What’s the problem? Tell me exactly what’s happened.
Leo Hickman: Hello, my wife is in labour and is having the baby at home, but she is really feeling the urge to push and the midwife, who is stuck in traffic trying to get here, said to call you if that’s the case.
